Holding Form

This work explores a psychological state of holding oneself together through instability.

Recently, I have been reading many difficult and heavy stories from my homeland. I am struck by how a person can carry profound physical and psychological wounds and still remain steady. This work came from that.

The figure carries cracks, distortions, and irregularities. These are not concealed, but form part of its structure. The cracks emerged during the process of making, becoming inseparable from the form itself.

Despite this, the figure holds and remains upright.

The work is about the ability to remain whole while incomplete, altered, and marked by what has happened.
